From Monday 22nd-Friday 26th August, our Toddler Play Group hosted a week long event in the St Martin’s church. With seats pushed to the side, the church was transformed into a dream world of children’s activities – including a bouncy castle, a playground arena, face painting and arts stations, and a whole range of play areas for different age groups.

Tea, cake and refreshments were also on offer, and a great time was had by all.

Between Monday 28th July – Friday 1st August, a great number of our parish family enjoyed a pilgrimage to Walsingham for not one, but two, different events – the parish and the youth camps!

Over 60 children and young people from across the Chichester diocese went along the the Youth Pilgrimage, who being supported by 10 adults, were one of the largest groups there out of the 650 plus who attended!

With the theme this year being ‘Doctor Who: Who is the real Time Lord?’, we had the chance to think about how contemporary culture points to Jesus, the Lord of All Time, and to enjoy some interactive youth-led religion, a lot of stage performances, a disco and winning the foot ball competition!

Go team Chichester! Well done!
