St Martin’s Sunday Club Newsletter – September 2017

Welcome back, we hope you all had a great summer break.

On Saturday 22nd July we all went to Washbrook Farm for our summer outing. It was wonderful to travel all together by double decker bus! The children had great fun in the park area, had the opportunity to hold some of the small animals and we all had a tractor ride. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the packed lunch provided by the Church. Despite the weather turning a bit wet in the afternoon, it was a lovely day out.

During the summer break, we held a series of 3 workshops. We looked at the life and work of St. Alban the first week, St. Wilfrid the second week and St. Martin the third week. We all learned a lot! The children have created a book in which to display their work and all that they have learned about our patron saints. Thank you especially to Clair for her hard work and effort in bringing the workshops together.

Please tell your friends about the great activities that we do, and the fun that we have in Sunday Club, and encourage them to come along and join us.
