St Martin’s Sunday Club Newsletter – Summer Term 2019
We hope you all had a good Easter break.
We start the new term with a couple of changes to the way we run the Sunday morning children’s sessions. This is mainly due to a change in staffing and the number of younger children attending Sunday Club.
Younger children, will now be provided with a creche provision in Church and remain in Church throughout the service. A designated Sunday Club leader will set up the toy area, meet and greet parents and children and be available for any required support. Parents/carers will be responsible for their children.
Older children will continue to be taken out, for an age appropriate teaching session, during the sermon and prayer of the faithful slot. For all other parts of the service if they have been, or are preparing to be admitted to Holy Communion, this group of children will be expected to sit with their parent/carer or in the sanctuary and join in as part of the worshiping church family.
Please give any feedback or comments about these changes to Fr Trevor or a Sunday Club leader and we discuss them to our next meeting.
